The Collomix LX120HF mixing paddle is meant for low viscosity materials. That means you would ideally use this paddle when mixing anything thin, including paint, dispersion, lacquer, glazings, paste, coverings, and epoxy-resin. LX paddles are also OK to be used on slightly heavier mixtures, such as leveling materials, fillers, and grouting compounds. Because it’s intended for liquid mixtures the mixing action is up-down to avoid splattering you or the work area. Being that it’s liquid the materials will get thoroughly mixed even with the downward motion.
Let’s understand the LX120HF. LX means that you should use it with liquid materials. 120 tells you to use this one with the Xo 1 mixing machine (the diameter of the paddle in proportion to the strength of the engine is what makes the difference). And HF is letting you know that this paddle works on Collomix’s original HexaFix (Quick Connect) technology.
What does all this mean for you?
This means you should use this paddle with the Xo 1 when mixing thin materials. It also means that you’ll have a quick, easy, and not-so-messy job when putting the paddle on and when taking it off.
Collomix also has all their paddles finished with a powder coat. That makes an already easy-to-use paddle easy-to-clean too! The stirrer’s welded joints reinforce its durability making it withstand the force of the engine. No need to burn out your drill engine anymore!
